Choosing a trainer certified through the CCPDT (Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers) means you’re working with someone who has met rigorous standards for knowledge, skill, and ethical practices in dog training. CCPDT-certified trainers are committed to science-based, humane methods that prioritize the well-being and positive development of your dog. This certification also ensures your trainer is dedicated to ongoing education and adheres to a strict code of ethics, giving you confidence that you’re getting effective and compassionate training for your dog.

Positive reinforcement training focuses on rewarding your dog for desirable behaviors, creating a strong foundation of trust and motivation. This approach not only makes learning enjoyable for your dog but also strengthens the bond between you. Unlike punitive methods, positive reinforcement encourages cooperation, builds confidence, and reduces stress, leading to more lasting behavior changes. Choosing a positive reinforcement trainer ensures that your dog is learning in a safe, humane, and effective way, setting them up for long-term success and happiness.

Our Day Training Program provides focused, one-on-one training sessions tailored to your dog’s specific needs. Over the course of 14 sessions, we work on essential skills like leash walking, recall, and behavior modification, all with positive reinforcement techniques. This program not only saves you time but also ensures consistent progress with your dog’s training, building a foundation for better behavior at home. At the end of each week, we have a transfer session to show you everything your dog has learned, so you can continue their progress confidently. You can choose to be present for all the sessions or you will receive a video and notes on everything we covered during that session. Either way at the end of the week, you will be shown how to do work with your dog.

We start with a free phone consultation to understand your dog’s specific needs and goals. From there, we schedule a 90-minute in-person consultation, where we assess your dog and create a customized training plan tailored to their needs. Once the plan is set, we begin our customized training package!

During our initial consultation, we’ll discuss your goals, your dog’s current behavior, and any specific challenges you’re facing. Based on this consultation, we’ll recommend a package that best suits your dog’s needs, whether it’s foundational training, behavior modification, or more specialized skills. Our goal is to create a tailored training plan that matches both your expectations and your dog’s unique personality, setting you both up for success.
